Their Excellencies, Baron Arontius and Baroness Laurellen, invite you to celebrate the 31st anniversary of June Faire with the Barony of Dragon's Laire! His Royal Majesty, King UlfR, will be joining us for a weekend of festivities, June 1-2, 2013. Experience feats of armored combat, the finesse of rapier, archery, thrown weapons, a magnificent Arts & Sciences village, bardic performances, and a bustling marketplace. This is our annual public demonstration and our premier Baronial event. As a special attraction, this year June Faire has once again been placed on the An Tir Fighters Tournament Circuit. The finest fighters in the Kingdom will cross swords.

31 years ago a group of SCA members decided to do a demonstration of what they were doing and learning for the general public. The event was called 'Medieval Faire' and ran at the Stokes Auction Site in southern Kitsap County for many years. The location changed, the SCA member group grew larger but the name stayed the same for the general public. However, for the SCA members the name of the event has always been June Faire. A year ago, on the 30th anniversary of June Faire/Medieval Faire, the Barony of Dragon's Laire decided to combine the name. We think that the general public is savvy enough to understand the name change!
If you are an SCA member, or affiliated with the SCA or wish to camp at the event please go to our SCA June Faire webpage. You'll find all the information you need about pre-registration, camping, and more there!
